Australian hot glass artist, Gerry Reilly, creates handmade blown art glass from his renowned Melting Pot Glass Studio in Margaret River Wine Region.
After 23 years as a public demonstration studio and gallery, Gerry and his partner Margot Edwards have closed their main street gallery and built a new home studio in Summer 2014. They have since developed a new approach to their hot glass practice, with an emphasis on open studio sessions, commission appointments, hot glass experience workshops incl small group bookings, and evening soiree events. While they no longer have a gallery of their own, they keep a range of pieces in their 'off the shelf' space alongside the studio.

Gerry Reilly specialises in art glass for interior designs at home and work including lighting, individual and professional commissions,
exhibition and architectural installation artworks, corporate and government presentations, awards, trophies and protocol gifts, wedding, anniversary, birthday and workplace presents and gift vouchers.
His online studio glass gallery shows a vast array of his designs and his facebook page http://facebook.com/meltingpotglass and http://instagram.com/meltingpotglassstudio show new designs on a regular basis

Available by appointment, Gerry Reilly is still very much working with hot glass and customising art glass commissions for your home, gift or presentation piece. You can phone or email from wherever you are, and work with Gerry and Margot through online photos and design concept discussions. You can give us a call if you're in Margaret River. And if you are looking for a specific piece with little time to spare, or have seen a design you love in our online studio glass gallery, don't hesitate to contact us for "off the shelf" purchases.

And for glassmaking experience workshop bookings and enquiries, phone Margot on 0420940123 or email meltingpot@westnet.com.au.

  • Reopening after summer break 19/1/2019
    14/01/2019 at 5:36pm
Gerry Reilly will be back in his studio from Sat, January 19, taking commission enquiries and bookings for glassmaking experiences and demonstrations.
We took the first ever summer break since opening the Melting Pot in 1990, much needed due to family circumstances, and we now return much refreshed.
Apologies for any inconvenience if you have wanted to book in while we've been away. We hope to see you next time you're able to come out to the studio and/or visit the Margaret River region.
Please give us a call on 0420940123 or email us on meltingpot@westnet.com.au to book your glassmaking experience or to arrange a time to visit the studio and meet with Gerry or Margot.
